*** That's all, folks! ***

You have now completed the 160 NorWord lessons. You have
the equivalent of a semester of introductory Norwegian,
(less pronunciation and listening comprehension, of course)
and you now should be able to read and write simple
communications in Norwegian.

The NorWord program was written by Nancy Aarsvold and Louis
Janus at the University of Minnesota in 1995.

For further study:

- use the Internet! You can read Norwegian newspapers, hear
Norwegian radio broadcasts, strike up correspondence with
Norwegians by email, join IRC chat channels, or do almost any
online activity "in" Norway.

- Lots more info on this website: http://www.NorwegianLanguage.info

- participate in the Norskklassen email list. "Norskklassen"
is part of the Yahoo!Groups system at http://groups.yahoo.com .
You can subscribe there, or visit our homepage on the Web at:
http://norskklassen.ce-service.biz/

- get some self-study materials. Amazon.com lists several
sets of books and cassettes which can also help you learn
pronunciation. Reviews of some of the available materials
are at: http://norskklassen.ce-service.biz/reviews/
or see the suggested resources at:
http://norwegianlanguage.info/resource/selected.html

- KlikkNorsk, but the two NorWord authors (Nancy Aarsvold & Louis Janus) plus Margaret
O'Leary is available from
http://skandisk.com/general_sub.asp?search=klikknorsk&imageField2.x=12&imageField2.y=12

- or, of course, take a course in Norwegian, at a university
or by correspondence. The Less Commonly Taught Languages
department of CARLA at the University of Minnesota keeps a list
of courses available in North America.
http://www.carla.umn.edu/lctl/db/

- especially recommended is Kari Lie's http://NorwegianOnLine.com

Takk for at du ble med i NorWord. Lykke til!
Louis & Nancy
