INTERNETHJOERNE (Internet Corner)

In this section, we will be listing some of our favorite
Norwegian sites on the Internet. The World Wide Web (WWW) is a
fabulous source of authentic Norwegian materials, and we highly
recommend it for language learners. Below are some sources of
free, on-line Norwegian news:

AFTENPOSTENS TEKST-TV:

Short news bulletins from TV3's text TV provided by one of Oslo's major
newspapers, Aftenposten. Updated daily in the areas of
domestic news, international news, and sports. Nice layout,
larger print, and relatively simple language. Suitable for all language
learners.

P4 NYHETER:
Provides many complete articles from Dagbladet, another of Oslo's major
newspapers. Articles are longer than the news bulletins
and cover a range of topics (domestic news, international news,
sports, culture) and genres (news articles, editorials,
chronicles, commentaries). Suitable for learners of all levels.
With practice, beginners should be able to identify the main
ideas in the articles, while intermediate and advanced students
will understand both main ideas and details.
